Next, students dive into guided practice: drills, role-plays, or writing exercises tailored to their goals (exam prep, business English, conversation). I weave in authentic materials articles, podcasts, videos to spark discussion and critical thinking. Class sizes range from one-on-one tutorials (where I adapt pacing and feedback in real time) to small groups (where peer interaction and collaborative tasks boost motivation). Throughout, I monitor progress with short quizzes and verbal feedback, celebrating improvements and addressing gaps immediately. My experience from pre-degree exam tutoring to a full-term post at Day Spring International has taught me to balance challenge and support, ensuring every student feels engaged, confident, and equipped to apply English in real-world contexts.
