Alice Ananian

I’m a certified teacher with the Cambridge CELTA, one of the most widely recognised practical teaching qualifications, plus a 120-hour TESOL/TEFL Master Certificate and a degree in linguistics. Before teaching full time, I spent more than ten years in marketing and communications for international companies, writing and editing English for non-native teams. I now teach adults and teenagers, mostly at B1 to C1 level.

My lessons are built around you, not a textbook:

Speaking first. You’ll talk for most of the lesson, and I give clear, gentle feedback and a chance to try again.

Business and professional English. Emails, meetings, presentations, and interviews, including the tone and register that make the difference.
Accuracy and fluency together. Pronunciation, natural phrasing, and the mistakes that Russian and Armenian speakers commonly make (I speak both languages, so I know where they come from).

Real materials. We work with your own emails, slides, and topics, so every lesson is useful straight away.
