Ana Carolina Lima E Ferreira

Over the past several years, my professional background has included diverse teaching experiences across various institutions. From 2007 to 2010, I taught Brazilian Portuguese and creative drawing at the Volkshochschulen in Erfurt, Jena, and Weimar. From 2008 to 2009 (for one and a half semesters), I had the pleasure of working at the Thuringia International School Weimar, which was an incredibly rewarding time. During this period, I served as a teaching assistant for the 4th and 5th grades. Later, the former School Director invited me to act as a substitute teacher for English as a Second Language (ESL) across the 6th to 10th grades. These formative experiences provided me with extensive knowledge and confidence in the field of education. From 2009 to 2017, I worked at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, first as an academic assistant and later as a project coordinator for the International Office's Services for International Students. In this role, I was responsible for advising and supporting international students and PhD candidates from the application stage through to admission. Thanks to my open personality and strong intercultural communication skills, I was valued as a reliable and efficient employee.
My ability to speak German, English, and three other languages allows me to solve problems quickly.
I will bring my international background, counseling knowledge, and teaching experience to your team, along with my strong intercultural skills, motivation, and dedication. As I am currently seeking a teaching position, I would like to offer my services as an educator in Art, History, and Language.
