I work at the intersection of UX design, adult education, and professional development. Over the years, I’ve designed and delivered UX Design training programs for adult learners and career-transitioners, combining solid theoretical foundations with hands-on practice, portfolio development, and exposure to real-world design workflows, primarily in remote learning settings.
Alongside this, I’ve contributed to higher education as a Guest Lecturer in Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) and UX, delivering lectures and facilitating applied learning sessions for MSc students in Web and Mobile Development programs in Thessaloniki. These experiences strengthened my ability to translate complex design and interaction concepts into accessible, practice-oriented learning experiences.
My teaching work is closely connected to long-term professional mentoring. I’ve supported adults exploring or transitioning into UX design careers, focusing on skill development, reflective practice, portfolio building, and sustainable career planning, always adapting the learning process to each person’s background, learning style, and professional goals.
In parallel, I’ve worked within structured entrepreneurship and acceleration programs, delivering business and career mentoring to adult learners and early-stage entrepreneurs. This has involved supporting strategic thinking, goal setting, decision-making, and the development of psychologically sustainable professional paths.
Teaching approach: hands-on, applied, and balanced
At the core of my teaching approach is a strong emphasis on hands-on learning. I design learning experiences where theory is not taught in isolation, but is immediately connected to practice through exercises, real-life examples, case studies, and guided application. I aim for a balanced theory–practice rhythm, helping learners understand why design principles matter while also developing the confidence to apply them in concrete situations.
My facilitation style is grounded in adult learning theory and experiential learning, informed by formal training in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching (EKEK Athena). I prioritize learner-centred, inclusive, and psychologically informed teaching, adapting content and methods across academic, vocational, and mentoring contexts to support meaningful, sustainable learning.
