Biologist & PhD Researcher | Biology, Zoology & Evolution Tutor

I am a biologist, researcher and experienced educator with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology from Moscow State University and a PhD in Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My expertise includes biology, zoology, evolution, genetics, molecular biology, anatomy, morphology and ecology. I have several years of experience teaching school and university students, preparing students for biology examinations and international Biology Olympiads, and providing individual tutoring. I have also taught courses in zoology, systematics, molecular phylogenetics and arachnology. My teaching focuses on understanding rather than memorisation. I explain complex biological concepts clearly, encourage scientific reasoning, and adapt lessons to each student's level, goals and interests. I believe students learn best when they understand how and why biological processes work.
