I am ready to help with your understanding and learning of both spoken and written English in a friendly and effective way.

I have been working as a freelance journalist and writer for many years. I have been published in The Guardian, New Internationalist, Multinational Monitor, LatinAmerica Press, Index on Censorship, Global Journalist, and many others. I have also worked as researcher and writer for the Economist Intelligence Unit, Oxford Analytica, the International Press Institute and Freedom House.

I have written three books about the history and politics of the Caribbean Republic of Haiti.

Recently I have been working for the UN Industrial Development Organization in Vienna as an editor and content creator. A lot of my time was spent proofreading and editing texts written by colleagues whose first language was not English. I retired from the UN in 2024.
