I use a mix of methods which really depends on what my students need. I have experience with the task-based method. This approach refers to how a lesson is based around the completion of a central task and the language studied is determined by what happens as the students complete it. I also like to focus on grammar drills, motivating my students to read more in order to expand their global knowledge and acquire new vocabulary. But most importantly, I try to focus on helping my student gain confidence in using English actively.
