My lessons are built around one core principle: real learning happens only after I understand how the student thinks. Before diving into content, I take time to assess the student’s current comprehension level, learning style, and goals—whether they are preparing for exams, struggling with specific concepts, or aiming for deeper understanding.
Teaching methods
I rely heavily on analogies, metaphors, and real-life examples to translate abstract psychological theories into intuitive, understandable ideas. Once I identify a student’s cognitive model—how they process information, make connections, and retain knowledge—I adapt my explanations accordingly. The same concept may be explained visually, verbally, through storytelling, or through structured logic, depending on what works best for the learner dynamics
Lessons are interactive and responsive. I encourage students to think aloud, ask questions, and challenge ideas, which helps me continuously adjust the level and method of teaching. The atmosphere is supportive and non-judgmental, allowing students to engage without fear of “getting it wrong.”
Teaching experience
My background in psychology enables me to recognize differences in comprehension, cognitive load, and learning pace. I have experience adapting complex material for students who feel overwhelmed, using structure and analogy to reduce confusion and build confidence.
My goal is for students not just to learn psychology, but to understand it in a way that feels coherent, applicable, and personally meaningful.
