Hi! I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated English tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience, working with children, teenagers, and adults from different backgrounds and language levels. My teaching journey has taken me across Slovenia and the Netherlands, from private tutoring and language centres to primary schools and international educational environments.

I believe that the best learning happens when students feel comfortable, motivated, and genuinely involved in the process. That's why my lessons are anything but one-size-fits-all! Every student brings their own personality, interests, strengths, and challenges into the classroom. I take the time to get to know you, understand your goals, and create lessons that suit your individual needs, interests, and learning style.

My teaching approach is interactive, student-centred, and communication-focused. Depending on your goals, our lessons may include real-life conversations and discussions to develop fluency, vocabulary, and speaking confidence, as well as grammar explained through clear examples and practical exercises. I also love incorporating creative activities, games, videos, stories, and authentic materials to make learning engaging and enjoyable. Whether we're working on reading, writing, listening, school assignments, or exam preparation, I aim to make every lesson meaningful, practical, and relevant to your everyday life.

Creating a warm, supportive, and encouraging learning environment is especially important to me. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, experimenting with language, and expressing themselves without fear of being judged. I see mistakes as valuable opportunities for growth rather than something to be embarrassed about. My lessons balance structure with flexibility: we set clear goals and work towards them together, while adapting the activities and pace to your progress, confidence, and individual needs.

With a background in English Language and Literature, Pedagogy, and Inclusive Education, I combine my passion for languages with a deeper understanding of how different people learn. I've worked in primary schools, language centres, private tutoring, and international school settings, supporting learners with a wide range of abilities and educational needs. These experiences have taught me that successful teaching goes far beyond explaining grammar rules or memorising vocabulary. It's about building meaningful connections, encouraging curiosity, nurturing confidence, and helping students discover what they're truly capable of.
