Denis Vyaznikov

I am a PhD candidate and university instructor at the University of Vienna, with over five years of teaching experience. My lessons are structured, supportive, and conducted entirely in English to encourage immersion and help you build confidence.

I focus on two main areas: English language instruction and academic writing support.

English language and exam preparation

Whether you are preparing for your Matura, working on your conversational English, or looking to improve your overall fluency, I tailor lessons to your individual goals. We focus on practical language use, relevant grammar, and plenty of speaking practice.

Academic writing and university support

I work with students at different levels, from high school essays to BA and MA theses and Exposé preparation. Together, we break down complex writing tasks into manageable steps, working on structure, argumentation, academic vocabulary, and editing. I also provide detailed feedback on your drafts, helping you identify areas for improvement and develop your writing further.

My teaching approach is collaborative and patient. Rather than simply providing answers, I focus on helping you develop the skills and methods to work independently. I adapt my materials and approach to your needs, whether you prefer focused exam preparation or a more flexible setting in which to discuss and improve your writing.
