Hi there! My name’s Colin, and I’m a native English teacher from the UK. I qualified as a CELTA teacher in 1997 and have been working full-time in the profession ever since.

I mainly specialize in: Business English, Interview Prep, FCE Prep, IELTS Prep, CAE (C1 Advanced) Prep, General learning, Pronunciation and Conversation.

My teaching methodology combines practical, engaging exercises with real-life communication skills. I focus on helping students succeed in exams, work, and social situations while keeping lessons enjoyable and motivating. Many learners come to me after years of uninspiring, grammar-heavy classes, and my aim is to make learning effective, dynamic and fun.

I come from a quite international family- I have lived in Spain for almost 30 years. My brother has resided in the USA for 20 years. My sister is now a permanent resident in Germany. Also, I have two nieces living and working in foreign countries. So, today it is clear that we might need to speak to anyone of any profession from any country.  The predominant international language of travel and commerce is English and that's where I am able to help!
