EAL teacher with international experience, passionate about creating student-centred learning environments for learners

I am writing to apply for the part-time English Tutor position at Nachhilfepro. The opportunity to support learners individually and teach them flexibly online aligns very well with my professional background and current availability. I graduated in 2019 from the Azerbaijan University of Languages as a member of the SABAH Groups, a selective honours programme for high-achieving students. During my teaching internship, my strong performance led to my appointment as a teaching assistant at an elementary school, where I developed a solid foundation in student-centred instruction and lesson organisation. I later moved to Vienna, where I continued my academic and professional development in an international context. I completed the CELTA and CELT-P qualifications at BFI Wien and worked as an English Language Development (EAL) Teacher at Danube International School Vienna. In this role, I supported multilingual learners through differentiated instruction, one-to-one support, and targeted language development aligned with students’ individual needs. I also hold a Master’s degree in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum with a focus on English Education in Secondary Schools from the University of Missouri. This programme strengthened my ability to plan structured lessons, explain complex concepts clearly, and adapt instruction for learners with diverse linguistic and educational backgrounds. Most recently, I have been on maternity leave, during which I have been raising my child bilingually. This experience has further deepened my understanding of language development and effective communication, especially in one-to-one and small-group learning contexts. I work independently, organise my time efficiently, and enjoy tailoring lessons to students’ goals, whether for general English improvement, academic support, or exam preparation.
