Hello! My name is Ena, and I offer English, literature, writing and art lessons (both practical and theoretical) for children and teenagers, either online or in person in Berlin.
I graduated from a language-focused high school with a strong emphasis on English and the humanities, developing strong writing and critical thinking skills, alongside a lasting passion for literature and the arts. I later studied at the Academy of Arts and Culture, where I gained knowledge in art history, photography, architecture, and visual arts. I plan to continue my studies in Fine Arts in Ireland in 2027.
My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs. Whether you need help with exam preparation, essay writing (my expertise), improving your English (grammar and conversational) skills, or developing your artistic abilities and learning how to talk and think about art in the context of history, literature and digital media, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
I believe that learning should be creative, enjoyable, and rooted in curiosity and genuine passion. Alongside language skills, I encourage discussion, critical thinking, and self-expression. In art lessons, students can learn drawing fundamentals, explore different techniques, and discover art history in an accessible and inspiring way.
For me, art history is never just about art. It is also about history, literature, philosophy, religion, social customs, economics, politics, and the countless ways people have understood and expressed life throughout different periods. I strongly encourage students to develop not only knowledge, but also a lasting curiosity about the world around them and a genuine love of learning.
I am patient, encouraging, calm, and genuinely passionate about literature and the arts. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them gain confidence and enjoy the learning process. I believe that education is not simply about memorising facts, but about nurturing curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire."
