Experienced and Patient English Tutor for Children and Teenagers (Ages 3–18)

Hello! I am an English tutor with around 2–3 years of experience teaching children and teenagers between the ages of 3 and 18. My approach to teaching is flexible and student-centred. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons according to their existing level, learning pace, age, and individual needs. Rather than following exactly the same method with every student, I first try to understand where they are comfortable and where they need more support. Depending on the student's level and goals, I can help with school English, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking and conversation, pronunciation, homework, and exam preparation. With younger learners, I can incorporate engaging activities and exercises to make learning more enjoyable, while older students may benefit from more structured practice, discussion, and targeted work on areas they find difficult. My goal is not only to help students improve their English, but also to make them feel more comfortable and confident using the language. I am patient, encouraging, and adaptable, and I am happy to adjust my teaching style as the student progresses. I have a BA in English Language and Literature, an MA in Computational Linguistics, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cognitive, Digital, and Empirical English Studies at RWTH Aachen University. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of language, linguistics, and how language is learned and used. I primarily offer lessons online. In-person lessons may also be possible depending on the location and circumstances.
