Ghada Ahmed

With over 15 years of experience teaching English Language and Literature, along with History, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology, I bring a deep, well-rounded understanding of the American curriculum to every lesson. I am CELTA-certified, which shaped my approach to language teaching around clear structure, active student participation, and real communicative practice rather than rote memorization.

My teaching style is student-centered and adaptable. I begin by understanding how each student learns best, then build lessons around that whether through close textual analysis, structured essay writing, guided discussion, or targeted exam drills. For literature and humanities subjects, I focus on helping students move beyond surface-level comprehension toward genuine critical thinking: questioning texts, forming arguments, and expressing ideas with confidence and clarity.

A significant part of my experience is dedicated to exam preparation (SAT, ACT, and EST )where I combine content mastery with strategic test-taking techniques, timed practice, and personalized feedback to help students improve steadily and measurably.

Beyond the classroom, I have published a peer-reviewed research chapter with Brill | Rodopi and presented my research at a conference at the University of Oxford, Mansfield College, an experience that keeps my own academic engagement active and informs how I guide students through rigorous, research-based writing.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at the University of Vienna, continuing my own lifelong commitment to the subjects I teach. My lessons are structured, patient, and genuinely engaging, designed to build both a student’s skills and their confidence over time
