Giada Licastro

I am an experienced Italian language teacher and content creator with over 3,000 hours of online teaching experience. Over the years, I have taught Italian to learners at different levels, from complete beginners to advanced students, always adapting my lessons to their individual needs, goals and interests.

My teaching approach is communicative, practical and interactive. I combine grammar and vocabulary with conversation, role plays, language games, interactive exercises and authentic materials. My goal is to help students not only understand how Italian works, but also feel confident using the language in real-life situations.

I hold a Master’s degree in Advanced Planning of Italian Language Teaching from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and have specialized qualifications in teaching Italian as a foreign language, including the DITALS II certification from the University for Foreigners of Siena and the Diploma.

In addition to teaching, I am a co-author of several Italian language textbooks and have extensive experience creating educational content for both social media and e-learning. I regularly use digital tools and innovative teaching methods to make lessons engaging, effective and relevant to today’s learners.

I particularly enjoy online teaching because it allows me to create a flexible and personalized learning environment. I believe that learning a language should be stimulating, useful and enjoyable, and I aim to create lessons in which students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and gradually becoming more confident in Italian.
