Gofiwa Koma

I have 9 months in teaching practice experience over the course of my degree and 5 months of on site teaching, the journey and experience was different each of year of the 3 years I practiced.
This was mainly due to the different students and different environments I was in.
This experience actually helped my teaching instincts and helped me to improvise when I unfortunately fallen short of resources. I learned to be resourceful and resilient.

My teaching philosophy is fostered on mixed learning methods, not just the traditional lecture or teacher centered, I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in their learning.
My teaching methods and strategies are both teacher and student led, practical activities, presentations, collaboration boards, discussions videos and role plays.
I intend to ensure that my teaching methods cater to all students with different learning abilities and cognitive differences.
