In my previous roles, I was tasked with helping students learn how to read. I have helped a lot of kids with learning differences. I found that many students struggle to understand complex concepts. I offer sensory approaches, visual aids and hands on activities. When teaching, I love to hear how students feel about learning and love hearing how they feel about engaging in subjects. This strategy improved a lot of their comprehension skills. It also opened a positive learning environment. If my students are happy at the end of the day, then I know my teaching is not in vain. I love watching students overcome learning challenges and achieve academic success. When you have the passion that I have for helping students, the world will have a generation of knowledgeable individuals in a field of expertise. While working with students can be challenging, building a strong relationship with them makes the experience more manageable. Always be open to adapt to different learning styles and needs. That's the number two in teaching.
