My teaching style suits more hands on and repetitive lessons, I give lots of advice and ways in which learning a new language can be done passively, without a book infront of you. Of course, fast tracking the course could also be done via intensive learning structures I have set in the past.

English is a fundamentally easy language, to fundametally grasp, upon getting to more complicated tones it can become much harder but also more interesting. Especially when looking at older texts, more difficult texts etc. I like to take these examples, of older books, newer forms of media and discussing the differences.

Furthermore, given my background in music, I believe music is an essential way to learn the meaning and importance of a language, how to say certain phrases with elegance, or even quickly to make you sound native.

Homework for me has always been a difficult conversation as i feel too much exposure to something burns you out, but a strong work ethic is always rewarded. I believe being able to have a parameter of homework i.e. music or book extracts being translated, or repeated, read out can all be different levels of that work being done, at their own time.
