Hi, I'm Martin, a 24-year-old native English speaker with an international background in the arts. I've participated in various art residencies, exhibitions and collaborative projects, which have given me the opportunity to meet and work with people from all sorts of backgrounds and cultures, often finding myself in new environments where communication, curiosity and adaptability are essential. I'm someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people, exchanging ideas and learning from different perspectives. I think this is also what makes language so interesting to me: it's not simply about knowing the right words, but about being able to express yourself, connect with others and feel comfortable in different situations. When it comes to lessons, I like to take a personal and flexible approach. I usually begin by getting to know the student, understanding their current level, interests and what they would like to achieve. From there, we can build a structure that works for them. Some lessons might focus on conversational English and everyday situations, while others could involve pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading or writing. Coming from an artistic background, I also enjoy bringing a little creativity into the learning process. We might use photographs, artworks, films, music, articles or interesting topics as starting points for conversation and exercises. I find that engaging with subjects you're genuinely interested in makes learning more natural and memorable. Of course, I'm equally happy to work with more traditional learning materials if that's what suits you best. Above all, I want lessons to feel like a comfortable space where you can practise without worrying about making mistakes. I encourage questions, curiosity and conversation, and believe that building confidence is just as important as learning the language itself.
