Louis Mihingano

I am a qualified and experienced French teacher with more than 20 years of experience teaching French as a Foreign and Second Language to learners from different backgrounds, ages and levels. I teach French from beginner to advanced level (A1–C1) and adapt my lessons to each student’s objectives, interests, learning pace and prior knowledge.

My teaching approach is learner-centred, communicative and practical. I believe that students learn best when they actively use the language, so my lessons provide plenty of opportunities to speak, listen, read and write in meaningful situations. Depending on your needs, we can work on conversation and fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and written expression.

I use authentic and carefully selected materials, practical activities, dialogues, role plays and real-life situations to make lessons engaging and relevant. Grammar is presented clearly and then practised in context so that students can use what they learn naturally and confidently.

I can help you learn French for everyday communication, travel, academic purposes, professional and business communication, tourism and hospitality, or specific language-learning goals. I also have experience preparing learners for French-language examinations, including DELF/DALF and TEF/TCF.

Whether you are starting French from scratch or want to improve your existing skills, I will create a supportive and motivating learning environment where you can progress at your own pace. I provide constructive feedback throughout the lessons and regularly adapt our work according to your progress.

My goal is not simply to teach you French, but to help you become a more confident and independent French speaker.
