My known strengths in the subject of teaching are my ability to correctly and coherently identify lesson aims/goals, discern patterns amongst learners that I later note down and incorporate into language analysis, and I can identify potential problems within a lesson and create viable solutions to them.

Additionally, I’m capable of displaying a strong rapport with learners based on the lesson activities and my overall observation of their personalities and level of understanding of the current language in the classroom.

My lessons typically operate with a breather exercise at the beginning in order to gauge a student's current level of understanding of the language, this primarly consists of brief concept checking or picture based questions, which is then followed by the main focus topic of a lesson (normally given as a digital handout form for the student to complete during the session). The handout activity serves to check a student's knowledge and to correct them so that the information of the lesson is better instilled in their memory. At times, I also use two handout activities or a free online platform when working with larger groups of students to allow them to learn from each other.

After this activity, I divide some time to explain new grammar to the student, this involves explaining the meaning, form, pronunciation, and appropriacy. Afterwards, I begin to wrap up a lesson with a closing game activity that tests their knowledge of the lesson while reviewing the students specific weakpoints and giving them pointers on where exactly they can improve themselves.
