My teaching is student-centered, interactive, and tailored to the needs of each learner. I use a variety of methods including direct instruction, guided practice, cooperative learning, and task-based activities. With younger students, I rely on songs, stories, games, and visuals to make learning meaningful and enjoyable, while gradually developing their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. For older learners, I incorporate discussions, role plays, problem-solving tasks, and real-life scenarios to strengthen both fluency and accuracy.
In terms of content, I have experience teaching English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies at the elementary level, and I have also taught Kindergarten using the GrapeSEED curriculum. In addition, I design and deliver lessons for one-on-one tutoring, where I focus on early literacy for young learners, and conversational English or business English for adults who want to improve their professional communication.
Classroom dynamics are very important to me—I work to create a safe, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learning from mistakes. I emphasize participation, collaboration, and positive reinforcement so that students remain motivated and engaged.
My teaching experience spans whole-class instruction, small-group work, and one-on-one tutoring. I have taught students from Kindergarten through Grade 6 in multiple subjects, and I have guided adult learners in improving their English for both daily communication and professional purposes. This wide range of experience allows me to adapt my teaching style to different age groups, learning levels, and goals.
