I am Heema, 44 years old, and have a Master’s degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from King’s College London. For the past 10 years, I have been tutoring employees and learners from the ages of 5 to 78 in Maths, English, Functional Skills, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Business English, Neuroscience, University Applications, and Business Administration. I also have experience working with learners who are Neurodiverse, and associate their learning practices with SEN/SEMH and SpLD. I have taught in a variety of settings, from a female prison to private tutoring at home, and corporate training. I design lessons which suit you and your learning style which means they are varied and I will take each lesson as they come- for example, if on the day something has put you in a different state of mind, I will teach you some neuroscience-based practices to bring you back to the present.
