My name is Anna, and I have been teaching Norwegian to adults for almost two years. I first learned Norwegian at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, where I studied Norwegian language and literature. During my studies, I also spent two semesters abroad as an exchange student.
After graduating, I lived in Norway for two years, where I took part in different one-year programmes and volunteer activities. This gave me the opportunity to improve my Norwegian and learn more about Norwegian culture and everyday life.
For me, teaching languages is a really exciting job. Over the years, I have had the chance to learn more about teaching and gain more experience. One of the biggest positive things for me is how much I can also learn and improve through these lessons.
Grammar rules, different expressions and other difficult parts of a language can be challenging for many adults. I try to find ways to make these parts easier to understand and learn, while still keeping the lessons interesting and enjoyable.
I have also worked with children before. During my school years, I studied pedagogy, where I often had the opportunity to work with preschool and primary school children. We created different activities for them and introduced them to various learning materials. This experience helped me learn how to organise activities in a structured way and manage time effectively.
