Patient English tutor supporting SEN students at their own pace

Hi, I’m Zara, a native English speaker based in Munich with over 15 years’ experience in education, student support, childcare and inclusive learning environments. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant supporting students with complex learning and physical disabilities, helping them build confidence, independence and engagement at their own pace. My lessons are calm, encouraging and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I can support English, reading, writing, creative writing, homework tasks, research skills, online learning and confidence-building. I like to start by understanding the student’s goals, strengths, challenges and learning style, then structure each lesson with a clear focus, gentle guidance, practical activities and time to review what we have learned. I aim to create a safe, respectful and inclusive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and progressing step by step.
