I believe that my multilingual skills are a good asset for translation, which facilitates language teaching. I have previously taken courses in ESL and TEFL. I also have experience in teaching Pre-K, Elementary, and Middle school.
I strongly believe that my literature and ELT background and focus will help accurately understand students' needs and how to tend to them.
I am dedicated, understanding, adaptable, empathetic, and adept at problem-solving.
My practical experience, both in the classroom and real life, have helped me foster better communication skills that have enabled me to be a good listener, critical thinker, as well as efficiently identify issues and swiftly solve them.
I can offer individualized English lessons tailored to students' needs and challenges. I believe in using creativity to maximize the absorption of lesson material and how to use it effectively, so that it is both fun and memorable. For example, I encouraged my students to use proper nouns of people they know (family members, celebrities, their favorite athletes...) in order to make it easier for them to learn new conjugation tenses and vocabulary. Using an individualized approach yielded some very positive results, which I am proud of.
My classroom dynamic had been and is mostly relaxed and gentle. I think that empathy and listening are important when it comes to teaching, so that when issues arise, they are easier to solve.

I am enthusiastic about the opportunity and to make a meaningful contribution for others and to help in any way that I can.
