Radwa Younes

I am an experienced English teacher and Cambridge-approved CELTA trainer. I hold the Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), an MA in English Language and Linguistics, a Diploma in Applied Linguistics, and the Trinity College London Certificate in International Business English Training. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Cognitive Linguistics at the University of Vienna.

Alongside extensive experience teaching adult learners, I have trained English teachers from more than 20 countries and have considerable experience in communicative language teaching. I also draw on principles of Dogme ELT, an approach that places learners, their interests, and real communication at the centre of the learning process rather than relying heavily on textbooks.

I believe that learners should play an active role in deciding what and how they learn. Students are encouraged to bring their own materials and real-life communication needs to lessons. My role is not simply to teach English but to help learners develop the confidence, strategies, and independence needed to continue learning successfully beyond the classroom. Through meaningful communication and personalised support, I aim to create the conditions that allow learners to unlock their full potential in English.
