I believe that every student learns differently, so I try to adapt my teaching methods based on their learning style and pace. Some students may understand a concept immediately through explanations, while others may benefit more from examples, visual aids, or additional practice questions. I am always willing to explain a topic multiple times and in different ways until the student feels comfortable with it.
Overall, I try to make my classes engaging and stress-free so that students feel comfortable with me and are not afraid to ask for help. Therefore, my classes are not 100% just about the subject. Sometimes, I will talk to students about their interests to ensure that they stay motivated and in high spirits throughout the class.
For Mathematics and Science, I often use practice questions to identify areas that need improvement and guide students through the problem-solving process rather than simply giving them the answer. For English, I encourage students to express their own ideas and gradually build their confidence in reading, writing, and speaking. Most importantly, I want students to feel that making mistakes is a normal part of learning and that they can always ask questions without feeling embarrassed or pressured. If I notice that a student is struggling with a specific topic, I will provide additional support and focus on that area to help them improve.
I also regularly communicate with parents about their child's progress, highlighting improvements and areas that may require additional attention, practice, or support at home. If requested, I can also send a report every 2 months to keep parents up to date.
