Sarah Owusua Boahene

From September 2023 to January 2024, I gained valuable teaching experience at GEMS Education Center, where I provided remedial classes for students in English, Mathematics, Social Studies, ICT, and French.
This role allowed me to support learners with diverse needs and learning paces. By working with small groups and individual students, I focused on reinforcing key concepts, bridging learning gaps, and building confidence in core subjects. My TEFL training enhanced my ability to design engaging English lessons, while my multidisciplinary background enabled me to connect language learning with other subjects such as mathematics and social sciences. I adapt lessons to the learner’s level, encouraging active participation and promoting critical thinking. I also tailor explanations and activities to suit visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners, ensuring all students can grasp concepts effectively.
