Shafa A.

Hello! I’m Shafa, a CELTA-qualified English teacher with an MSc in TESOL and Intercultural Communication (Distinction) and an MSc in English Literature and Linguistics (Distinction).

I have several years of experience teaching English to international learners in both online and face-to-face settings. I have worked with learners from more than 25 nationalities and taught a wide range of levels, from intermediate to advanced.

My lessons are practical, interactive and adapted to each learner’s goals. I can help you improve your general English, speaking and communication skills, Business English, workplace communication, Academic English and IELTS preparation.

For professionals, I focus on useful real-world communication, including meetings, presentations, emails, interviews and professional conversations. For academic learners, I can help with academic writing, vocabulary, speaking and study skills.

I believe lessons should be comfortable but purposeful. We will work on the areas you actually need to improve, with plenty of opportunities to speak and use English naturally. I also provide clear feedback and practical guidance so you know exactly how to progress.

Whether you want to become more confident in everyday English, prepare for an exam, communicate more effectively at work or simply feel more comfortable speaking English, I’d be happy to help.
