My English lessons follow the CELTA approach, ensuring a structured, engaging, and learner-centered environment. Each session begins with clear, achievable aims, focusing on language systems, skills integration, and real-world communication. I adhere to the PPP model—Presentation, Practice, Production—guiding students from initial exposure to confident use. For example, when introducing new vocabulary, I present context-rich examples, facilitate controlled practice through targeted exercises, and then encourage freer use in role-plays or discussion.

I design each lesson by conducting a needs analysis, tailoring materials to students’ proficiency levels, interests, and goals. Lessons incorporate authentic texts, listening activities, and realia to foster contextual understanding. I emphasize concept checking questions (CCQs) to confirm comprehension before moving forward. In the guided practice stage, I monitor progress, providing corrective feedback and scaffolding as needed. During the freer practice, learners collaborate in pairs or small groups, enhancing fluency and mutual support.

Pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and skills development are integrated seamlessly. I use elicitation techniques to activate prior knowledge and encourage student participation. Error correction is balanced: I address immediate mistakes unobtrusively during practice and offer feedback during plenary or individual sessions, promoting positive reinforcement. The lesson concludes with a wrap-up, summarizing key points, revisiting aims, and assigning purposeful homework that reinforces new material. I maintain a supportive atmosphere that values every contribution, fostering continuous improvement.
