Sreedevi Parvathy

I am a passionate and dedicated teacher with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I have several years of teaching experience working with children aged 6 to 15 in classroom settings of up to 30 students, including children with special educational needs and learning difficulties.

My teaching philosophy is simple — every child learns differently, and my role is to find the approach that works best for each individual student. I believe that learning should be encouraging, patient and fun. I never make a child feel bad for not understanding something. Instead, I break topics down into smaller, manageable steps and use real-life examples to make concepts easier to understand.

For Chemistry, I use a hands-on and visual approach — I explain chemical concepts through everyday examples that children can relate to, making abstract ideas feel concrete and interesting. I help students understand not just the “what” but the “why” behind each topic, which builds genuine curiosity and long-term understanding.

My lessons are always structured but flexible. I begin by understanding where the student currently is, what they find difficult and what their goals are. I then create a personalised learning plan and adapt it as we progress together. I regularly check understanding through questions and exercises, and I give clear and constructive feedback.

I am fluent in English and also speak German at B1 level. I am patient, warm and genuinely enjoy watching children grow in confidence. I offer online sessions via Zoom or Google Meet, as well as in-person sessions near Heppenheim. I look forward to supporting your child on their learning journey!
