I have long experience tutoring chiefly in academic contexts, and have given many presentations. In America, I received three National Latin Exam medals. I also have worked in museum contexts for science communication. I generally find it easy to engage people with the topics. My experience:

I will give powerpoint lectures, prerecord videos, assign readings and minor puzzles for homework. I treat all students as capable of learning at the university level, no matter their particular pace. I will encourage them to examine particular topics that must be glossed over on their own.
