Hello, I am Valentina. I have two Master´s degrees, in English philology and in English studies, multilingual and intercultural communication; a professional diploma in foreign language teaching; and a CELTA certificate.
I work as a self-employed online language tutor based in Málaga.
I specialise in General English, ESP (English for specific purposes) and exam preparation (Cambridge FCE/CAE, Aptis General).
Apart from that, I teach general Spanish to Russian-speaking learners who have moved to Spanish-speaking countries and prepare for SIELE and DELE language exams up to C1 level.
I give individual classes and teach in small-group contexts, building tailor-made didactic materials in collaboration with learners' goals: exam-focused
workbooks, asynchronous homework tasks and recorded oral practice, adapted to
each candidate's needs.
I combine communicative, lexical and Dogme approaches, Project-Based Learning
with innovative synchronous tasks and asynchronous homework to extend learning
beyond live sessions.
My teaching principles are:
