Experienced Spanish Tutor with Background in Literature, Creative Writing & Education

Hello! My name is Diego Astiz, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain with a strong academic background in literature and a passion for teaching. I hold a degree in General and Comparative Literature from the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as a Master's in Screenwriting, completed in collaboration with The Mediapro Studio. I have several years of experience working with children and teenagers, both as a basketball coach and as a volunteer teacher’s assistant through the European Solidarity Corps in Slovenia. I’ve also worked as a freelance text editor and proofreader, which has given me a deep understanding of Spanish grammar, spelling, and stylistic nuances. I aim to make learning Spanish both effective and enjoyable, adapting my teaching style to the student’s needs—whether you’re looking to improve your conversation skills, grammar, or writing. I can also offer insight into Spanish and Latin American literature and culture for more advanced learners. I'm currently living in Slovenia and available for online lessons.
