International School English Teacher with 9+ Years Experience

Hi, I’m Tea! I’m an English teacher from Croatia with a Master’s degree in Education and over nine years of teaching experience in Croatia and Vietnam. Over the years, I’ve taught students of all ages — from young learners to university students and adults. Some of my students wanted to improve their conversational English and confidence when speaking, while others needed help with academic writing, IELTS, grammar, pronunciation, or preparing for school and university classes. I know learning a language can feel stressful or intimidating, especially when you’re afraid of making mistakes, so I try to create lessons that feel relaxed and comfortable. I’m a very patient teacher, and I focus on helping students speak more naturally and confidently step by step instead of making lessons feel too strict or overwhelming. Most recently, I taught English Language Arts at an international bilingual school, where I focused on literature, writing, discussion, and critical thinking. I also have experience teaching Cambridge and IELTS courses, conversational English, and younger learners in primary school settings. I always try to adapt lessons to the student rather than follow one rigid teaching style. Some students prefer more conversation, others want structured grammar practice or help with writing, so together we can focus on what is most useful for you and your goals.
