Hi, I'm Katharina! I'm German and I live in Berlin.
--- I am the founder of the brand BRAIN EXPLAIN. I give keynote speeches and workshops at universities and companies on motivation in learning processes. I am a lecturer at a Berlin university and am certified in the areas of coaching and training.
--- When I was learning Spanish in Honduras, my favorite moments were when young locals taught me funny and catchy phrases for specific situations. It felt amazing to make a whole room laugh – even though I wasn’t fluent yet. Those moments gave me a lot of motivation to keep learning. That's why I developed a course based on exactly that idea. I started out teaching a couple of friends – and now I share this approach with anyone who's interested.
--- I'm a trained educator, a professional in supporting motivational processes, but not a professional German teacher. So I can’t promise you’ll pass your next German exam with this course - but I can guarantee you some moments of joy in the process of learning.
