I come from a background in English Literature, which has given me not only the cultural and linguistic foundations of the language but also a deep appreciation for the power of words. In the past, I’ve had the opportunity to support English learners both online and in person, working with students of different ages.
What I’ve discovered is that my strength as a teacher lies in helping students form a personal connection with the language. I don’t see lessons as something confined to a classroom or a textbook. Instead, I focus on linking what students are learning to their own experiences. When a student shares a hobby, a challenge, or even a small moment from daily life, I use that as a bridge to help them engage with English in a way that feels natural and relevant.
I guide students to think in the language, and I believe the greatest lesson I can offer is not just knowledge of English, but the confidence and perspective to integrate it into their lives and grow with it.
