Englische Muttersprachlerin für Konversationen und Grammatik Hilfe!

I currently live in the U.S. and teach ESL to adult immigrants in my community. Last summer, I worked at an English language camp in Germany and taught children ages-I have a degree in English education and I am TESOL certified.

Through my most recent experience teaching English in Germany, I have found that I like to take a communicative approach to language teaching. I find people learn best when they are given the opportunity to not only practice their target language, but to feel confident in speaking it. I like to guide discussions, ask frequent questions, and encourage participation from all students. While my knowledge in German can allow me to provide translations and aid to students who might need it, I avoid using German as much as possible and, instead, like my students to learn vocabulary through context.
