Hi! I'm Greg, 30 years old and 10 years experience as a teacher, got started in this line of work right out of university, where I studied Biomedical Science and Psychology. My bog standard approach to a class is generally to base things around news of the day, so I'll take some interesting headlines from The Guardian, for example, blur out some interesting vocabulary, copy those words into a random list generator, and Bob's your uncle, there's a nice gap fill exercise. I'll generally try to make some relaxed discussion out of that vocabulary and the topic of the news article too, just to help you get a grip on the new language, and I'll also be writing in into a flashcard set which you can practice as homework or that we can drill in classes together. I'll also be making notes on any mistakes you make so that we can practice the correct structures conversationally later - it's a little hard to explain but I've had many positive reviews. My clients are usually quite satisfied and tend to renew their budgets with the school I work for.
