Experienced Online Teacher/Tutor for English and English Literature

Holder of an English Special degree, currently in pursuit of a Master's Degree in English and Cultural Studies at Freie University Berlin, I bring along over three years of teaching experience at a leading state university as well as at a Higher Education Institute in Sri Lanka.

I have been studying English and English Literature over a span of twenty years and have thus gathered the confidence to accurately deliver the linguistic and literary knowledge to any age group. In the past four years I have been conducting online private classes during my spare time and believe this will help further if I were to embark on, or rather, restart, a teaching career on a full time basis.

Followed by my tenure as an Instructor in English at University of Peradeniya, and then as a Visiting Lecturer at Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education, I have worked at two Diplomatic Missions for four years, which has allowed me to excel my interpersonal skills. Professionalism, administration and coordination lie in my strengths, thanks to my career path.

It also lies in my capacity to create and customise lesson plans according to each student's learning goals, which I assume would be expected of a successful teacher/facilitator.
