At the start of each lesson, I identify the student's goals and review previous learning when appropriate. Then, I introduce the lesson objective and guide the student through relevant activities and discussions based on their needs. I try to get the students to speak as much as possible during the lesson. I don't like interrupting them, but I do make notes, paraphrasing their answers into more natural English, and then I give them immediate feedback when they've finished speaking. At the end of each lesson, I summarize key learning points, address any outstanding questions, and set goals for the next session.
