Hello! I am Italian translator based in Indonesia. My academic background is in Specialized Translation, which gave me the knowledge and tools to work on many types of texts. I further specialized in Literary and Academic translation. I have worked as a freelance for over 10 years on countless domains and topics. For 5 years I was employed as Translator and Compliance Officer for an online gaming company (where I was tasked with translating Italian regulations and advise the business accordingly). I also worked for 3.5 years as Editor and Author for a specialized magazine on linguistics and translation practices. I have been volunteering for years for Translators without Borders, working on projects for several NGOs and humanitarian organizations. I particularly enjoyed working on healthcare and medical projects for partners like Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and Operation Smile.
