Antonino Marra

I am a qualified and experienced language teacher with over four years of teaching experience, working with adult learners and students of different levels, both online and in person. I teach English and Italian (native speaker), adapting each lesson to the learner’s goals, level and interests.

My teaching is communicative, student-centred and practical. Lessons combine clear explanations with guided practice, conversation, role plays, targeted exercises, authentic materials and personalised feedback. Depending on your needs, we can focus on General English or Italian, conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing, Business English or exam preparation. My aim is not only to improve accuracy, but also to help students communicate confidently and naturally in real-life situations.

I hold the Trinity CertTESOL (Level 5) and TEFL qualifications, as well as Cambridge C1 Advanced (Grade A, corresponding to CEFR C2) for English. I have completed Berlitz Method training and am currently completing training in the inlingua teaching methodology. I am also preparing for the DITALS certification for teaching Italian as a foreign language.
