I studied Spanish in high school, but over the years I realized I had forgotten almost everything, to the point that I could barely introduce myself. So I decided to start learning again from scratch. When I met Eliana, I immediately felt at ease with her. She’s kind, incredibly patient, and knows how to make lessons engaging by using a variety of materials like audio, videos, and texts. She also takes the time to explore topics I’m interested in, which makes the lessons even more motivating. I still have a long way to go, but I’m really pleased with my progress and look forward to our weekly chats.

Eli's success as a teacher reflects her academic training and extensive experience. In the seven years she has been my teacher, I have progressed from a complete novice to a level where I can converse with confidence in Spanish at work or while traveling. Her lessons are well organized and meticulously prepared. Subject matter progresses systematically through all levels of Spanish. Homework is targeted to review the past lesson and prepare for the next. She is easy to understand and brings humor to the class. I recommend Eli without reservation to anyone looking for a structured, professional and engaging experience.

Eliana ist die beste Spanischlehrerin, die ich je hatte. Ich habe schon mehrmals versucht, Spanisch zu lernen, aber irgendwie hat es nie so richtig geklappt. Dann habe ich Eli gefunden und mit ihrer Hilfe mein Niveau von A1/A2 auf B2 gesteigert. Eli erklärt auch komplizierte Themen leicht verständlich und sehr strukturiert. Man merkt sofort, dass sie eine professionell ausgebildete Spanischlehrerin ist und nicht einfach nur Muttersprachlerin, die Spanisch unterrichtet. Der Unterricht ist durchdacht, klar aufgebaut und gleichzeitig angenehm und persönlich. Ich kann Eli wirklich uneingeschränkt empfehlen und wenn ich mehr Sterne vergeben könnte, würde ich es tun!

I have been working with Eli for 6 months she is such a fun, caring & fantastic teacher. I have been trying to learn Spainsh since moving to Mexico 11 years ago but never enjoyed my classes. I had many different teachers & found usually that I would do classes for around 3 months feel I was not progressing then I’d give up & stop. I dreaded my Spainsh class & couldn’t wait for it to be over. When I started with Eli I thought the same thing would happen but I was very surprised as I found myself actually learning things that I had struggled with before. Eli is very friendly, approachable & I don’t mind making mistakes in-front of her. In the last 6 months my Spainsh has significantly improved lots of people have commented how much better it is & It’s all down to the confidence Eli has given me to go out & speak Spanish where I would have usually used English. She explains things in a way that you can understand & our classes are always enjoyable, relaxed, organized & progressive.

Eli es el mejor profesora! Me alegra que la encuentre! He estudiado con Eli ya casi dos años con Eli, y mi español es mucho mejor! Gracias por todo Eli!!
