Juan Solano

Hi! I’m Juan, a professional language teacher from Colombia specializing in Spanish, German, and English. I am a native Spanish speaker, certified Goethe-Institut examiner for levels A1 to B2, and I have over five years of experience teaching languages to adults, teenagers, and young learners.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education in Philology and Languages (German) from the National University of Colombia. In addition, I completed a specialized teacher training program in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of Cartagena, which strengthened my methodology for helping learners master Spanish in a structured and communicative way.

As a Colombian native, I have lived in different regions of the country, which has enriched my understanding of the many accents, expressions, and cultural nuances of Spanish. This allows me to offer students a more authentic and comprehensive learning experience, whether they want to learn neutral Spanish for everyday communication or explore the diversity of Latin American Spanish.

My Teaching Experience

I started teaching during the pandemic, a period that accelerated my development as an online educator and gave me extensive experience with digital learning tools and virtual classroom methodologies.

Afterward, I worked with Colombian and German educational institutions, gaining experience in online, face-to-face, and hybrid teaching environments.

Throughout my career, I have specialized in preparing students for official language exams and helping learners achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals.
