I have 40 years experience of teaching English to speakers of other languages. During this time, I have taught people of all ages and abilities, in language school classes and in one-to-one lessons. For the past 13 years, I have taught one-to-one and group lessons for two online teaching platforms.
I can offer both English Language and Business English tutoring. I specialize in preparing students for examinations: Cambridge Key, Preliminary, First, Advanced and Proficiency; IELTS; TOEFL; Abitur (English component).
I structure my lessons around creating a supportive, engaging, and student-focused learning environment where learners feel comfortable participating and asking questions. With extensive professional teaching experience, I adapt each lesson to the student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style, combining clear explanations with interactive activities and practical examples.
I enjoy incorporating authentic materials, conversation practice, and real-life scenarios into my lessons to make learning practical and enjoyable. I encourage active participation and tailor activities to maintain motivation, helping students develop fluency naturally while feeling relaxed, supported, and confident throughout their learning journey.
I believe that students learn best when they feel encouraged and confident, so I always aim to create a friendly atmosphere that motivates them to improve their abilities step by step. My lessons are designed not only to develop knowledge and skills, but also to build confidence, communication, and independent thinking in an enjoyable and positive way.
Seeing my students grow in confidence and achieve goals they once thought were difficult is the most rewarding part of teaching for me.
