Kyle Cote-Houghton

During my undergraduate degree, I was selected for the opportunity to undergo extensive teaching and editing training to work as a writing tutor. After several months of classes and practicum work, I was trained to work with professionals and students to improve their writing style and structure in any academic style. This experience was followed by years of experience as a freelance editor for students and professors alike where I gained experience in editing for academic and business applications.

After completing my bachelor's degree, I worked on-and-off as a teacher in American public schools where I gained hands-on experience with teaching elementary school children in a variety of subjects. From there, I moved abroad and began to teach English in France, and later worked as a substitute teacher in Austria. These experiences have allowed me to develop fun and engaging activities to help students of all ages learn English while providing a tailored experience capable of addressing their individual needs.

Over the years I have gained a great deal of experience working both privately, and publicly with students and professionals to improve their English language skills, prepare for English exams, and to improve their writing for academic or career uses--often times in published works.
