Praise Okorie

Teacher | English Educator | Child & Adolescent Education**

I am a dedicated and adaptable teacher with several years of experience working with children and young learners between the ages of 5 and 15. My passion for education began in high school, where I volunteered as an assistant teacher, gaining early experience supporting students and assisting with classroom activities.

Since then, I have continued to develop my teaching experience across different age groups and learning levels. I have taught English to both younger children and students in higher classes, allowing me to develop a flexible teaching approach that adapts to different ages, abilities, and learning needs.

I also taught one on one lessons with students, helped them prepare for exams both online and in person

My key skills include classroom management, lesson planning, English language instruction, student engagement, communication, patience, and creating a positive learning environment. I am passionate about helping students understand challenging concepts, build confidence, and develop a genuine interest in learning.

I bring patience, creativity, responsibility, and a strong commitment to supporting every student's academic and personal development.

My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s age and learning level. I begin by introducing the topic and connecting it to what the student already knows, followed by clear explanations, examples, and practical activities. I encourage questions and participation throughout the lesson and end with a short review or assessment to ensure the student understands the topic.

I'm always happy to meet new students and work with them.

See you in class!
